Dr. Dmitriy Burman, MD, FAAP, FABP

Dr. Dmitriy Burman is a board-certified pediatrician with over 20 years of experience caring for children from newborns through adolescence. He is the founder and medical director of VIP2Care Pediatric Clinic in Maple, Ontario, where he has been serving local families since 2014.

Dr. Burman is known for his thoughtful, patient-centered approach to pediatric care. He believes that great medicine starts with listening—taking the time to understand each child’s unique needs and helping parents feel confident, informed, and supported in every stage of their child’s development.

Throughout his career, Dr. Burman has worked in a wide range of clinical settings, including pediatric clinics, hospitals, emergency departments, newborn nurseries, and inpatient pediatric units. He has provided care across Canada and the United States, and previously served as Chairman of Pediatrics at a hospital health system in Pennsylvania. This broad experience allows him to confidently manage both routine pediatric care and more complex medical concerns.

At VIP2Care, Dr. Burman focuses on preventive care, healthy development, and early intervention. He is passionate about educating parents on child health, growth milestones, and disease prevention, and regularly develops educational programs to help families make informed decisions about their children’s well-being.

Dr. Burman completed his pediatric residency at SUNY Stony Brook Health Sciences Center and earned his medical degree from the Medical Academy of Latvia. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP) and the American Board of Pediatrics (FABP). He is registered at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario since he began practicing in Ontario in 2012.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Burman is deeply committed to building long-term relationships with families and creating a welcoming, supportive environment where children feel comfortable and parents feel heard.
